Jubilee Dairy began in 1887 in Taranaki, founded by Chew Chong - a Chinese immigrant and successful businessman. Chong saw a need in the improvement of butter as he was trading butter to overseas buyers at the time, and at times stocks were ruined by bad butter.

He revolutionised the trade with his strict hygiene rules, invented a rotary butter worker, an air cooler and an impressed brand for butter boxes. Today, we aim to continue Chong’s legacy and rebranded Jubilee Dairy in 2017. We refreshed the image and packaging, but the tradition and morals stay the same, delivering quality dairy products to everyone.

Our products all use 100% New Zealand sourced milk. New Zealand is one of the few places in the world where cows and sheep can graze on grass all year round, producing the best quality milk.
We ensure that the milk we source are from free range farms. Our cows graze on lush green pastures all year round.
